The Guardians

The year is 2060. The population is 11 billion and growing...Overpopulation and pollution have become the number one issue in the world. The guardians are a society founded to find the balance between nature and technology. They have accomplished their goal, but their society and culture is slowly dying away as the world progresses. The guardians can only look down upon the future human generations. They have taken the world for granted, and are destroying it, not even aware of their actions. Cities are now flooding into oceans, and a deep haze fills the ground beneath the cities. As the sun sets, the world slowly comes to an end."

I personally love this piece, and have placed it under painting because much more of it is painting than stock.
